The Supreme Court of Minnesota revived Smart Growths’ claims challenging Minneapolis’ adoption of its 2040 Comprehensive Plan, a zoning plan that, among other goals, aims to increase density in areas made up of single family homes. The plaintiffs claim the plan violates state environmental laws.

PAUL, Minn. — The Supreme Court of Minnesota revived Smart Growths’ claims challenging Minneapolis’ adoption of its 2040 Comprehensive Plan — a zoning plan that, among other goals, aims to increase density in areas made up of single family homes. The plaintiffs claim the plan violates state environmental laws.
