LOS ANGELES (CN) - A revenge porn website operator agreed Wednesday to plead guilty to computer hacking and identity theft charges, federal prosecutors said.
Hunter Moore, 28, of Woodland, was arrested a year ago on a 15-count indictment charging him and Charles Evens with conspiracy, aggravated identity theft and computer crimes.
Moore's plea agreement states that he can be sent to prison for seven years and fined $500,000.
Evens, 26, of Studio City is scheduled for trial on March 17.
Moore is scheduled for a court appearance Feb. 25, but the U.S. Attorney's Office said that will probably be postponed until March.
