An article in the Nov. 18, 2015, edition of this page, under the headline “Hayward, Cop Must Face Wrongful Death Claim,” which reported on a ruling in the civil complaint against the city of Hayward, Calif., contained incorrect information about a party to the case. Contrary to what was reported in the article, Manuel Troche was not convicted of involuntary manslaughter for a March 3, 2013, shooting. Courthouse News has removed the article from its database and deeply regrets the error.
