Retraction

A Dec. 21, 2011, article titled "Ex-NFL Pro Named in Pump & Dump Scheme," which reported on a lawsuit brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission against numerous defendants, including attorney Mitchell J. Stein, incorrectly stated that Mr. Stein had pleaded guilty to parallel criminal charges and also incorrectly attributed that statement to the Department of Justice. Mr. Stein has not pleaded guilty to parallel criminal charges and vigorously denies the charges in the indictment. Courthouse News Service regrets the error.
