RETRACTION

An item published in the Feb. 4, 2010 issue of this page under the headline, "'Entrust Group' Said to Take $8.5 Million from Retirement Accounts in Minnesota," which reported on the allegations in a civil complaint filed in Minnesota's Fourth Judicial District Court (Hennepin County) against defendants The Entrust Group and Entrust Midwest LLC, was incorrect due to a misreading of the complaint. The headline was also incorrect.

According to the complaint, The Entrust Group and Entrust Midwest LLC provided plaintiffs with administrative and/or custodial services relating to plaintiffs' investment in a purported foreign currency arbitrage. The Entrust Group and Entrust Midwest LLC are alleged in the complaint to have made certain errors and misrepresentations in connection with the processing of plaintiffs' investment instructions that contributed to plaintiffs' investment losses.

Neither The Entrust Group nor Entrust Midwest LLC is alleged to be among the investment promoters or to have any affiliation with any of the investment promoters. Neither The Entrust Group nor Entrust Midwest LLC is alleged to have pilfered or stolen any money. Neither The Entrust Group nor Entrust Midwest LLC is alleged to have been the subject of any government investigation or litigation in connection with the matter.

Courthouse News Service retracts the headline and the item.
