An article in the Dec. 2, 2014, edition of this page published under the headline "Insurer Not Responsible for Hepatitis C Lawsuits," which reported on a Minnesota federal court's ruling in an insurance coverage dispute, contained incorrect information about the ruling. Contrary to what was reported in the article, there was no finding by the court that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists failed to adequately investigate a technician it had certified. The court found only that claims against the registry relating to the technician arose from professional services rendered by the registry, thus triggering an insurance-policy exclusion. Courthouse News has corrected the article in its database and deeply regrets the error.
