MILWAUKEE – A class claims in federal court that Milwaukee County lowers employees' retirement benefits by reducing their years-of-service credit without their knowledge or consent.

The lead plaintiffs are Debra Tietjen and the Estate of James Tietjen. The defendants are Marian Ninneman, Milwaukee County and the Employee Members' Retirement System of the County of Milwaukee.
