Retired Air Force General Says So-Called Developers Took Him For $3.5 Million

CHICAGO (CN) - A retired Air Force general claims Lake Forest Partners defrauded him of $3.5 million it promised, but failed, to use to develop three uninhabited islands in the Bahamas. Gen. John Chain Jr., 73, who was commander in chief of the U.S. Strategic Air Command, claims he was cheated by Christopher French, of Fontana, Wisc.; Albert Montano and Dr. Mark Weissman, both of the Chicago area.
