Restaurant Owes It $30,000, PR Firm Says

BALTIMORE (CN) - An Italian restaurant part-owned by (nonparty) Chazz Palminteri owes a publicity firm $30,000, the company claims in court.

Profiles Inc. sued Sergio Vitale and Sonny's Bronx Original LLC, the operators of "Chazz: A Bronx Original", in Baltimore City Court.

Palminteri, the actor best known for his semiautobiographical work "A Bronx Tale," is not a party in the complaint. He partnered with Vitale and Vitale's brother Allesandro to open the restaurant last year in Baltimore's Harbor East neighborhood.

Profiles agreed to "assist with the development and implementation of a strategic and comprehensive publicity program for [Chazz's] pre-opening, opening and post opening phases," according to the complaint.

It claims that the agreement promised that it would be reimbursed for out of pocket expenses.

"The agreement requires Profiles to invoice Chazz for all services and any other amounts incurred by Profiles on the first business day of each month," the complaint states.

Profiles claims the restaurant failed to pay the invoices submitted from June 2011 to September this year.

Profiles demands $30,000, to cover the invoices plus attorney's fees, interest and other relief.

It is represented by James Crossan with Rosenberg Martin Greenberg.
