CHICAGO (CN) - A Wall Street Journal reporter was arrested in the lobby of the Dirksen Federal Building after arguing with U.S. Marshals while trying to interview one of Rod Blagojevich's attorneys.
Reporter Doug Belkin was trying to interview attorney Sam Adam Sr. as he left the building Wednesday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. Belkin was handcuffed and taken upstairs after a marshal told him to stop.
The incident occurred after a mass of reporters had interviewed Blagojevich and his attorneys in a cordoned-off section of the lobby. Blagojevich had left before the incident.
Blagojevich, while Illinois governor, is accused of trying to sell the U.S. Senate seat vacated by President Barack Obama.
