Relatives of USS Cole Victims Demand Justice

NEW YORK (CN) - Fifty-nine relatives of the 17 sailors who died in the 2000 terrorist bombing of the U.S.S. Cole in Yemen have filed an order seeking to enforce a multimillion-dollar default judgment against the Republic of Sudan. The plaintiffs' federal complaint accused the Sudanese government of providing material support to al-Qaida, the terrorist group that carried out the attack.
