Records on Immigration Prisons Demanded

CHICAGO (CN) - The National Immigrant Justice Center demands that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security release all reports in which the United Nations High Commission for Refugees reported of conditions inside U.S. immigration prisons, in a FOIA complaint in Federal Court. Co-defendant Immigration and Customs Enforcement told the Center that it had nine responsive documents totaling 264 pages but it wouldn't release any of them.

The National Immigrant Justice Center is represented by Christina Morrison with Katten Muchin & Rosenman.
