Records Demanded On XM-Sirius Merger

WASHINGTON (CN) - US Electronics demands that the Federal Communications Commission deliver records on XM and Sirius satellite radios' history of compliance with FCC mandates, to determine whether their proposed merger will harm the public interest.

In its federal FOIA complaint, US Electronics claims the FCC refused its request for expedited response, "claiming that no compelling need for such action had been certified."
