Records Demanded On Telecoms’ Lobbying|For Protection From Liability For Spying

SAN FRANCSICO (CN) - The Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Justice refuse to hand over records on the lobbying campaign by telecommunications companies to amend the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act to exempt them from liability for their role in warrantless government surveillance, says the Electronic Frontier Foundation in Federal Court.
