Reckless Homicide

An appeals court in Ohio affirmed a man’s conviction for reckless homicide. Although the man claimed he shot the victim accidentally while the two were “playing around” – him with his gun, and the victim allegedly with a switchblade – he never claimed he thought his gun was unloaded and he knew the risks of pointing a loaded gun at someone from his military training.
