LOS ANGELES (CN) - R&B singer Ray J pleaded no-contest to trespass after being charged with refusing to leave a Beverly Hills bar after allegedly groping a woman.

Willie Ray Norwood Jr., 33, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor trespassing, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said Thursday.

Charges of sexual battery, assault on a police officer and resisting arrest were dropped.

"Norwood was arrested after refusing to leave the hotel bar for groping a woman," the District Attorney's Office said in a statement. "While in police custody he broke a patrol car window."

Superior Court Judge Edward Moreton sentenced him to 3 years summary probation, 50 hours of community service, restitution, and classes in alcohol therapy and anger management.
