Railyard Threatens Death, KC Southern Says

SHREVEPORT (CN) - Because of a billing dispute, the Louisiana & North West Railroad Co. installed a derailing device on its railyard at Gibsland, La., that can derail trains and maim and kill their occupants, Kansas City Southern Railway Co. claims in Federal Court. The railyard took this illegal action, which also threatens interstate commerce, on Jan. 28, KC Southern says.
