Race Problems Continue In Dallas DA Office

DALLAS (CN) - Another attorney claims Dallas County District Attorney Craig Watkins, who is black, fired him because he is white, to give his job to a less qualified black replacement. Arey, who had 32 years with the Dallas DA's office, was chief of the juvenile divisionwhen Watkins fired him. Watkins, who was elected in November 2006, has been sued repeatedly on similar allegations. See the federal complaint.
