Rabies

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Wyoming Supreme Court ruled the city of Lander isn’t entitled to immunity on a family’s negligence claim brought after an animal control officer removed a bat from their home but lost it before it could be tested for rabies. The family of five’s medical bills for rabies vaccines totaled more than $83,000.
