Pearson Education and three other major textbook publishers accuse Alibris, a major online bookseller, of copyright violations: importing, distributing and selling textbooks not intended for the U.S. market, in Manhattan Federal Court.

Here are the parties in the Alibris case: Pearson Education, John Wiley & Sons, Cengage Learning, and The McGraw-Hill Cos. v. Alibris, John Doe dba Bookrain, and John Doe dba Educational Media Centre dba EMCBooks.
