Protest Hostility

A photojournalist who says he was subjected to excessive force while covering a Black Lives Matter protest outside the Saint Francis Hospital in Los Angeles is suing LA County, its sheriff and others, claiming they are hostile towards members of the media and the public attempting to record them and that he was unjustifiably assaulted.

LOS ANGELES — A photojournalist who says he was subjected to excessive force while covering a Black Lives Matter protest outside the Saint Francis Hospital in Los Angeles is suing LA County, its sheriff and others, claiming they are hostile toward members of the media and the public attempting to record them and that he was unjustifiably assaulted.
