Protective Orders

An appeals court in North Carolina ruled that people who have been in an abusive same-sex dating relationship who are seeking a protective order should be equally protected against domestic violence as people in relationships with persons of the opposite sex.

RALEIGH, N.C. — An appeals court in North Carolina ruled that people who have been in an abusive same-sex dating relationship who are seeking a protective order should be equally protected against domestic violence as people in relationships with persons of the opposite sex.
