LINCOLN, NEB. (CN) - Privatization of government records has led to a suit against Multicounty Information and Programming Services, which maintains records and computer systems for many Nebraska counties and, in refusing to release the records, has gained an unfair advantage on a competitor.
County Records Inc. claims in Lancaster County Court.
County Records demands costs and damages for malicious and reckless interference, unfair competition and violations of public records laws. It is represented by Peter Thew.
