LOS ANGELES (CN) - An Australian private investigator says producer David Zimmerman stole his idea for a private sleuth reality television show.
Kenneth Gamble says Zimmerman agreed to help him get his show off the ground. But after their six-month contract was over, Zimmerman allegedly claimed that he had the right to develop the show. Zimmerman contacted some of the same distribution companies Gamble was working with and threatened to move in on Gamble's Australian contacts, according to the lawsuit.
Gamble wants the court to confirm that says Zimmerman and his company, Zim Entertainment, have no rights to the show.
Gamble is represented in Superior Court by Stephen Smith.
