Prisoner Says CCA Encourages Guards|To Homosexually Molest Detainees

HONOLULU (CN) - A man who says he was sexually molested at a Corrections Corporation of America prison claims America's biggest private prison company "encourages hiring predatory homosexual to hold jobs at CCA in order to control inmates and to encourage the predators to force prisoners into homosexual activity as a means of keeping pay low at CCA."

The complaint continues: "Defendants allowed the prison guard to have direct contact with plaintiff and other inmates with whom (sic) he continually sexually harasses, assaulted & battered and otherwise violated."

The plaintiff says he was sent from prison in Hawaii to a CCA prison in Tallahatchie, Miss. He claims that CCA "is constantly involved in litigation because of CCA's homosexual employees who prey on Hawaii inmates when those inmates are on the mainland."

Anthony Gouveia demands punitive damages for assault and battery. He is represented in state court by William Fenton Sink. He also sued the State of Hawaii.
