The Second Circuit ruled a prison warden is not protected by qualified immunity in a suit brought by a prisoner who says state correctional officials violated his Eighth Amendment rights by denying him a meaningful opportunity to exercise for six months.

MANHATTAN — The Second Circuit ruled a prison warden is not protected by qualified immunity in a suit brought by a prisoner who says state correctional officials violated his Eighth Amendment rights by denying him a meaningful opportunity to exercise for six months.
