Price-Fixing Alleged in Cooling Compressors

DETROIT (CN) - A federal antitrust class action claims Tecumseh and four other corporations have fixed prices of compressors for refrigerators and air conditioning since 1996. The class claims the other conspirators are Whirlpool, Danfoss, Appliance Components Cos., and Panasonic, and their subsidiaries.

Lead plaintiff Don Walter Kitchen Distributors is represented by Jonathan Frank with Jackier Gould. Three other, similar complaints were filed in the same court.
