Pregnancy Policy Subjects Hospital|To Punitive Damages Judge Pregerson Says

LOS ANGELES (CN) - No matter what intentions Northridge Hospital Medical Center had in prohibiting two pregnant workers from working the its fluoroscopy lab, where their fetuses would have been subjected to radiation, the policy illegally discriminated against the women and the hospital is liable for punitive damages, which Judge Dean Pregerson sends to a jury to determine.
