The Republic National Committee and President Trump's re-election campaign sued the auditor of Johnson County, Iowa, for mailing prefilled absentee-ballot request forms to all registered voters in the county, though the Iowa secretary of state's directive specifies that the forms must be mailed blank.

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Deliberately violating a directive to send out blank forms, the auditor of Johnson County, Iowa, mailed absentee-ballot request forms with all of the data on the form prepopulated for all registered voters in the county, the Republic National Committee and President Trump's re-election campaign claim in court.
