Ponzi Scheme

The claims the Hartman Wright Group and its founder and co-owner Tytus W. Harkins, 37, of Laurel, Mont., took $8 million from investors with false and misleading statements in a “Ponzi-like” scheme, “leaving its investors with millions in probable losses.

DENVER — The SEC brought a federal complaint against the Hartman Wright Group and its founder, saying they took $8 million from investors with false and misleading statements in a Ponzi-like scheme, “leaving its investors with millions in probable losses.”
