Ponzi Conviction Upheld

In an unpublished memorandum opinion issued Tuesday, the Ninth Circuit upheld a woman’s conviction for running a $9.5 million Ponzi scheme, finding the prosecution did not shift the burden of proof because she testified in her own defense.
