The family of Rebecca Zahau, a woman found dead hanging naked, bound and gagged from a balcony in 2011, filed a lawsuit in San Diego Superior Court to demand that the San Diego Sheriff's Department hand over public records of the investigation into her death. Police ruled Zahau's death a suicide.
