Police Officers Win One, Lose One In 6th Circuit

CINCINNATI (CN) - In separate rulings, the 6th Circuit granted immunity to an officer in Crossville, Tenn., who shot a man during a routine traffic stop, but the court denied immunity to six Cincinnati officers accused of causing a 350-pound man's death by pinning him to the ground and leaving him facedown in handcuffs until he stopped breathing.
