CHICAGO – A federal court in Illinois dismissed free-speech and privacy claims brought by two former police officers who were fired after their conversation about how to drink alcohol and sleep on the job was unintentionally broadcast over a state police radio channel and recorded. The conversation also included racist remarks about black coworkers.
