Police misconduct protest

SAN FRANCISCO — The Ninth Circuit granted qualified immunity to California police officers who forcibly removed a woman from a city council meeting for protesting the death of a Black man in police custody, holding that citizens do not have a right to prevent the government from performing its lawful function.
