Police Misconduct

A federal court in Ohio ruled that a woman who was raped by a police officer may pursue her civil rights and deliberate indifference claims against the Village of Phillipsburg and its police chief. The police chief was aware of the officer’s history of misconduct before he attacked the woman while on-duty.
