A police officer was properly convicted of multiple charges after he forcibly and violently had sex with a woman in lieu of arresting her for prostitution, the Guam Supreme Court ruled.

HAGATNA, Guam — A police officer was properly convicted of multiple charges after he forcibly and violently had sex with a woman in lieu of arresting her for prostitution, the Guam Supreme Court ruled.

The court did determine, however, vacate three of the police officer's convictions, finding that two of them were included offenses of other convictions and one violated double jeopardy.
