MINNESOTA (CN) - Rohm & Hass and others conspired to fix prices for plastic additives, a $16.3 billion annual market, a class action claims in Federal Court.
The chemicals companies are accused of conspiring to restrain trade and fix prices for plastic additive "such as heat stabilizers, impact modifiers, and processing aids used to manufacture or process plastics."
Here are the defendants: Rohm & Haas Co., Arkema fka Atofina Chemicals fka Elf Atochem North America, Ferro Corp., Mitsubishi Rayon America, Akcros Chemicals America, and Akzo Nobel.
Plaintiffs' lead counsel is Stanley Karon.
