Pilots’ Age Limit|Raised to 65

WASHINGTON (CN) - Pilots serving in domestic, flag, and supplemental operations do not have to retire until they reach their 65th birthday.

The Federal Aviation Administration has officially implemented the Fair Treatment for Experienced Pilots Act, which raised the upper age limit from age 60 to age 65.

The age limit of 60 has not been enforced since the law went into effect Dec. 13, 2007.
