Photographers’ Pay

Two female Detroit Free Press photographers may pursue their Equal Pay Act claims against the paper, a federal court in Michigan ruled, because they presented sufficient evidence that male photographers with similar duties were paid more than them.

Female reporters' equal pay claims fail because their positions are not interchangeable with those of other reporters in the newsroom.
