Photographer’s Estate Sues Over Trademark

LAS VEGAS (CN) - The Estate of Monte Zucker, the United Nations' Portrait Photographer of the Year in 2002, claims photographers Jeff Medford and Clay Blackmore misappropriated Zucker's name and trademark to promote and unjustly enrich themselves, and even opened bank accounts in Zucker's name, diminishing the value of Zucker's name and hurting his nonprofit organization for at-risk youth, the Zucker Institute for Photographic Inspiration."
