Photographer Says Web Site Defamed Her

LOS ANGELES (CN) - A photographer has accused the operators of a Web site called wehirealiens.com of making baseless claims that she illegally hires models without work visas and pays them in cash, insinuating she's guilty of tax fraud. "The accusations are entirely false and inaccurate," Zoe Wiseman claims in Superior Court.

The allegedly defamatory post lists Wiseman's address and business Web sites, the address of a hotel Wiseman frequents and the names of models who are purportedly illegal immigrants.

"This harassing behavior and the accusations ... have substantially injured Plaintiff and her business," the lawsuit claims.

Wiseman demands actual and punitive damages. She is represented by Bryan Freedman with Freedman & Taitelman.
