ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A defamation suit brought by a woman whose photo was printed without her permission on flasks, magnets and cards accompanying the phrase “I’m going to be the most popular girl in rehab!” is barred by the statute of limitations, a New Mexico appeals court ruled .

The woman had no idea her image was being used on the products until her daughter purchased a flask bearing the image and gave it to her.
