ST. LOUIS (CN) - A woman was sentenced to 120 days in jail after pleading guilty to sex acts with her dog.
Dana Kintz, 28, and Shawn Ingram, 37, were both charged with unlawful sex with an animal, a misdemeanor. Ingram also was charged with felony possession of child pornography.
Kintz called St. Louis city police to her home on March 12, claiming Ingram had punched and slapped her.
Police said they found images of child pornography on Ingram's cell phone, as well as images of Kintz engaged in sex acts with the couple's dog.
Kintz claimed Ingram coerced her behavior, but officials told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch there was sufficient evidence to charge her as a willing participant.
Prosecutors asked for a yearlong sentence, but St. Louis Circuit Judge Michael Stelzer sentenced Kintz to 120 days and allowed the 68 days Kintz spent in jail awaiting trial to count as time served.
The dog has run away, according to the Riverfront Times.
