Pelvic mesh implants

SAN DIEGO — An appeals court in California affirmed that Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Ethicon must pay civil penalties to the state for circulating misleading medical device instructions and minimizing the risks of transvaginal pelvic mesh products. However the court reduced the amount of penalties from $344 million to $302 million.
