Pay-to-play

MANHATTAN — The Second Circuit revived claims under federal anti-racketeering law alleging that McKinsey & Co. filed false statements in 13 bankruptcies and engaged in a “pay-to-play” scheme in which it arranged meetings between clients and attorneys in “exchange for exclusive bankruptcy assignment referrals from those attorneys.”
