Paul Walker’s Estate Wants His Cars Back

LOS ANGELES (CN) - The family of actor Paul Walker, who died in a car crash with his friend Roger Rodas, has sued the Rodas estate for 20 autos allegedly owned by Walker or by both men, but in Rodas' possession when the two died in the same car.

Walker became a marquee star in the "Fast and Furious" films. Rodas was his financial adviser when they died, and like Walker collected automobiles. They died on the afternoon of Nov. 30, 2013, when Rodas smashed his Porsche into a lamppost in Valencia and it burst into flames.

In the March 20 lawsuit in Superior Court, Walker's father claims that Rodas had possession of at least 20 autos that were owned by Walker or jointly owned by the two of them, including four BMWs and three Porsches. He says the Rodas estate has rejected numerous demands for their return, and that the Rodas estate sold some of the jointly owned cars before and after Walker's death.

Walker seeks possession of the vehicles and an accounting of the sales, and damages for conversion.

He is represented by Christopher Heck, with Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin.
