LOS ANGELES (CN) - An agent for porn actors who promotes himself as "Patron of the Tarts" has filed a $3 million slander suit against a porn film director for saying that the plaintiff requires female clients to give him oral sex as pre-condition for finding them work.
Mark A. Spiegler, in a complaint filed in Superior Court, claimed that Arland Kerkove, who is professionally known as Skeeter Kerkove, made the statements to the operator of a website called AdultFYI.com because he was jealous.
"As the article itself states, defendant made the comments after favorable press about plaintiff appeared in the Las Vegas Weekly and after plaintiff received a positive reception at a trade show," the suit said.
Kerkove also allegedly named four of plaintiff's clients "to bring legitimacy to his statements."
The complaint was filed by Richard Lloyd Sherman of Sherman & Nathanson.
