Patient Says Doctor Is Rude Enough To Sue

ANN ARBOR (CN) - A patient claims a rude doctor breached his medical confidentiality. The patient claims that Dr. William Jay Binder, irritated at his questions, told him, in the waiting room with other patients, in "a loud and accusatory voice ... 'You've got hepatitis C! Now you go and think about it until you can figure it out.'"

The patient also sued the CFG Professional Corp. dba Michigan Pain and Wellness Center, in Washtenaw County Court.

The patient, who says he "suffers from mild dementia," demands damages for invasion of privacy, breach of confidentiality, negligence and emotional distress." He is represented by Donald Perkins of Mt. Clemens.
