Contrary to the claims of Advanced Biological Laboratories, the Stanford Hospital and Clinics do not need a license to continue using ABL's "HIV Drug Resistance Database," because the patent is invalidated by prior art, Stanford University claims in San Francisco Federal Court.

SanDisk Corp. claims Phison Electronics, Silicon Motion Technology and 32 others are violating its patents on flash memory storage products, in Madison, Wisc., Federal Court.
